So I got bitten by the audiobook bug and as a consequence started listening to some podfic. This is my very first attempt at recording one of my own stories - people I've asked seem to think my accent won't matter, and I followed some tips and tricks from tutorials so hopefully it'll be okay to listen to... Enjoy! :)

Story notes: Post-book/movie vignette, written as a Yuletide treat. The music at the end is from "Allegrie Miserere" from the movie soundtrack.

    How lovely! It was a treat to hear you read this particular story, I know I know I enjoyed it when I first read it, and listening made me pay attention in a different way.

    Since you said you wanted constructive criticism - this might be just my preference, but I think you could read just a bit more slowly, to give the listener a chance to savor the words.

    It was fun hearing your voice for the first time, too! Not quite what I expected, for some reason.
