"Came down to play some ball. Want company?"Justin threw his bag down beside Nick's and pulled at his
tee shirt, the sun too hot. In the shade it hadn't been bad, but now that he was in the direct sun, he
understood why Nick had taken his shirt off. In this heat, it would be soaked in no time anyways, so no point
in delaying the inevitable.
Nick felt his mouth go dry as Justin peeled his shirt off revealing his perfectly toned chest and stomach. It
reminded him harsly how shirtless he was. How shirtless and not perfect he was. Looking at Justin's body,
he then looked down at his own, seeing the vast differences. "Umm yeah. We can play one on one if you
like."
At that, both men's minds drifted to the one on one they'd 'really' like to be playing with each other. Their
gazes paused slightly on one another, both men breaking eye contact at the same time. Bouncing the ball to
Justin, Nick smiled and began to walk backwards towards the net. "You got first."He said, shaking out the
kinks in his neck and back before getting ready. He watched Justin prepare himself a little before getting into
position.
And suddenly they found themselves in an intense game of one on one, neither holding back anything.
They played hard, forgetting everything around them except for the sheer determination not to lose to the
other. There had always been this underlying competition between the two of them, each pitted against the
other in every way imaginable. Whenever they were doing something, they knew that whatever it was, it
would be judged against what the other did. Whether they did it better, faster or more successfully. So as
they played an intense game of basketball, that was continuously in the back of their minds.
It was about 40 minutes before Justin paused, wondering how Nick did it. They were both breathing heavily,
sweating profusely but still determined to see the game through. It was now 18-19, Nick only needing 2
points to win and Justin wasn't sure that he had it in him to keep going. But there you had Nick, who had
clearly been out there far longer than him looking like he still had another few hours left in him. "What's wrong
junior? Pussying out on me?"Nick teased, taking a long drink from his water. He let some dribble from his
mouth, the water falling down his chin to his chest where it joined the beads of sweat that had been playing
on the bronze skin all afternoon.
Justin watched every movement the water made, resisting the urge to dart his tongue out and lick the water
off, drop by drop. Blinking his eyes slowly, he raked them up Nick's body to his eyes, which were now
watching him with interest. Blushing, Justin looked away and straightened up before grabbing his own water
to drink.
"Nah. Just taking a breather Carter. I still haven't kicked your ass yet."Throwing his water onto his bag,
Justin grabbed the ball and signaled that he was ready to start again, needing to end the game so he could
go home and deal with the throbbing mass between his legs in the privacy of his own home.
Flashing Justin a smirk, Nick shrugged and got ready to start playing again, knowing that he only had 2 points
before he beat the younger man. And he was going to beat him. That wasn't a question.
Nick faked Justin out, stealing the ball and pounding towards the half court to regain possession before the
younger man even knew what happened. Taking a chance, he aimed and jumped going for a 3 point shot
from center court smiling as it sailed through the hoop, not even touching the rim. As the ball hit the ground,
bouncing aimlessly, he turned to see the look of frustration on Justin's flushed face. It was one of the cutest
faces he'd ever seen, not that he'd openly admit that to him.
"Fuck."Justin muttered, seeing the elated expression on Nick's face. His face was pink from exertion and
too much sun, his body glistening with sweat. He watched as Nick strode across the court to where he was
still standing, not having moved since Nick stole the ball from him. Before he knew it, the blonde was directly
in front of him, extending his hand in good sportsmanship.
"Good game Justin."
He thrust his hand out to shake it, unconsciously pulling Nick in for a half hug before they both pulled away
