Notes: Okay, so this is a little screwed up. I don't know where it came from at all, but I just got this idea in my head and wrote it out. It's a strange one so consider yourself warned. I don't even know if it makes sense or flows.. but I like it so I'm sending it. It's slashy without being a slash story. I guess it's IMPLIED slash then... *shrugs* whatever LOL. And ummm... no sequel. Yeah. Invisible by Jules I sit and I watch. No one pays me any attention and for that I'm thankful. Because I see more than I'm supposed to, hear everything they don't want anyone to know about. And still, they never suspect a thing. Any of them. It started out early. Earlier than anyone would even suspect, but of course in the beginning I had no idea what it was I was actually seeing. Hearing. What I was a part of. I just didn't know any better, but in this industry you learn a lot early on. And it didn't take me long to understand what was going on around me. How as much as Nick and Justin fought, as mean as they were to each other, they were equally in love with each other. It took them until NSYNC's law suit with TransCon for them to get their shit together and realize how good they were for each other. But that only made them appreciate what they'd found even more. Before he and Justin had gotten together, Nick thought he was in love with Brian. Of course, Brian is as straight as they come and when he was comforting Nick in the early days, cuddling up with him and being a big brother to him, that's all it was. Brotherly. Nick of course didn't see it that way and developed a huge crush on his best friend. And as much as Brian tried to deny it, he knew. I think that's why he started dating Leighanne in the beginning. Sure he liked her, sure she treated him normally because she had no idea who he was and how big he would become, but at first, I think he only dated her to show to Nick that he was straight. It broke Nick's heart. On the other side though, Justin was feeling the same thing for Lance, who happened to be gay as well, but just ...unavailable. He was sort of busy with his own crush on AJ. I can't believe what a trip these guys are. How much like a soap opera it is. Nick was crushing on Brian who is straight while Justin was crushing on Lance who was crushing on AJ, who in turn was actually involved with JC. Nick and Justin ended up getting together and one night when everyone was in the same city, in the same hotel, Lance had gone down to JC's room to borrow a CD and found him in a pretty compromising position with AJ. At least that's what I'd heard. Of course no one officially told me anything, and I wasn't even allowed to see PG movies at that point, let alone whatever porn that JC and AJ were participating in. Of course, that was the night that everyone found out about everything. Not that it really made a big difference to anyone, but everything was out in the open that night. Lance had screamed loud enough for the whole hotel to hear. At that, AJ and JC sprang out of their bed and wrapped the sheet around themselves. Nick and Justin ran out of Nick's room, both half dressed and ended up meeting up with Brian who came from his room. Chris and Joey had come out of Chris' room where they'd been playing video games and Howie and Kevin each came out of their rooms. Everyone seemed to meet outside of JC's door which was open. Lance was still frozen to the spot and from what I hear, he had tears in his eyes. All the dirty laundry was out in the open and they realized that they were going to have to deal with it. All of it. Of course, the one question I wanted answers to was why they were all on the same floor. But of course, I wasn't even supposed to know what I DID know, so asking questions would have only brought attention to myself. So when I'd heard all about it a few days later when Nick and Justin were gossiping about it, thinking I was too engrossed in my game boy, I had to wonder when they all started acting like little girls. Lance had stopped talking to JC for nearly 48 hours, which in turn made him miserable. AJ tried to talk to Lance about it but he wasn't talking to him either, the hurt still too fresh. It appeared that Joey suddenly added himself to the equation, taking Lance back to his room to comfort him and try to calm him down. Once they'd left the room, Kevin asked Chris what was so funny and Chris whispered that Joey had been wanting

		Lance for a while now and wasn't sure if he was gay, or it was just the way he looked and acted. The next day when we saw Joey and Lance at breakfast, Lance was still ignoring AJ and JC, but he had a smile on his face reserved for Joey, the two men barely taking their eyes off of one another. I'm sure that he wasn't completely over Aje, but knowing that Joey was there to help him get over it didn't hurt things. That was over 3 years ago ...almost four to be exact. And I'd be lying if I said things had changed. They haven't. The drama still lies deep within and sometimes I wonder if they ARE all a bunch of girls. Nick and Justin are still together, although I'd be surprised if anything could split the two of them apart. If Lou and Transcon, the media and rivaling solo efforts weren't able to break them up, nothing will. And the scariest thing is that out of everyone, they're the most stable ones. The ones that know exactly what they want and what they're doing. Well except for Brian, but he's on such a short leash we've forgotten what he was like before he was a kept man. So he doesn't count. AJ and JC didn't exactly last all that long but thankfully it wasn't a hard break up. They realized that they were better friends and the romance wasn't really what they were looking for. JC's dating Tara Reid now and AJ's supposedly getting married, but every once in a while when I'm vising, I hear bits and pieces of how JC was over visiting AJ when Sarah was out of town and although the romance was over, the sex was still unbelievable. Joey and Lance. Well it didn't last after the release of On The Line, but I think that was more due to them wanting different things. That and Kelly getting pregnant. It was strange how she could get pregnant with Joey's child when they were supposedly dating as a cover. Lance was having none of that. The thing that surprised me the most was how well Lance took it. Or how well he handled it anyways. I mean, if the person I loved was cheating on me, I don't think I could stay friends with them. But they did. I hear rustling in the other room and know that they're up. It's still pretty early for them to be awake but it's not like I'm complaining. We're supposed to go fishing today. All three of us. Up in the middle of nowhere to someone's cabin to just relax and chill before everything starts up again. Straining my ears, I hear them talking. Nick wants to bring Kevin and Howie along, saying that it will be fun with more of us. I agree, but of course I don't have a vote. I'm the silent one. Justin is arguing back saying that he figured that since Joey and Chris were in town that they would go. After they discuss if any of those four have issues with the other and realize that no, out of everyone, those four are pretty much issue-less, it's all set. Nick will call Howie and Kevin and tell them we're leaving at noon and to be ready, while Justin will call Chris and Joey and tell them the same thing. It'll be the seven of us. I'm sure that the issues will present themselves at the cabin. Those ten can't go anywhere without at least some drama. I can't help but grin. No one has seen the way that Howie's eyes linger on Chris longer than anyone else. The way he seems captivated by every word out of his mouth. And I know that neither of them ever knew that Joey has always had a hard on for Kevin. It should be an interesting week and I'm sure that the next saga in the Lives of NSYNC and Backstreet will be as interesting as it has been in the past. Someone kicks me and I jerk to attention, not realizing that I'm daydreaming. I look up and find Justin staring down at me. "You know kid. You're looking more and more like Nick every day." My eyes narrow at how he's said it. "Back off perv. I'm fourteen."He breaks into laughter and it's joined in by Nick's who has slid in behind him and placed a kiss to the back of his neck. They're laughing so hard that I can't help but join in. Justin reaches down to mess up my hair. "Gross AC. I'm no pedophile. Plus I've known you since you were like a fetus or something...I'm just saying... You look exactly like he did at fourteen. Kind of scary if you ask me." "No one asked you baby."Nick sits on the couch at the other end and pulls Justin down on his lap. "And besides. I was hotter."We all laugh and know that Nick's just talking bull shit. I'm much hotter than he was at my age. Justin's right though, he has known me that long. But it's been cool. His guys are awesome and so are Nick's. And I've been lucky to be able to sit on both sides of the fence. I used to hear stuff when I'd visit Nick on tour, and I'd hear stuff while I was on tour with NSYNC at the beginning. And like I said earlier, it's great when no one pays any attention to you. You hear stuff. See stuff. And learn. I'm sure that this week will be very educational. I can hardly wait. Finis
