Title: Sometimes You Just Need To Get Away From It All
Author: Jules
Part: 1/1
Series: 4 of One Way Or Another Series
Pairing: Nick/Kevin/Justin
Rating: NC-17
Disclaimer: Fiction. Yeah. Fiction.
Warnings: Slash warning. Bigroupal warning
Notes: This story was a bit harder to write than I'd anticipated. And not for the reasons you're all probably thinking. I hate skiing. HATE IT. For those of you who don't know, I went skiing for the first time in my life last February and nearly broke my knee. Seriously. It was traumatic on all sorts of levels and to this day, I can't watch skiing on TV. I'm even picturing that day right now (and I remember every detail in perfect clarity) and wincing and cringing, knee throbbing. Why I decided to have them go skiing and snow boarding? I have no freaking clue. Must be my masochistic side. So yeah. Therapy? Meh! Stupidity? Probably.
Thank You: To Danielle who went through and fixed the story up for me and made it all pretty and flowy.

~*~*~*~*~*~*

The phone ringing broke Nick from the daze he was in. He was supposed to be packing but instead he'd been standing in the middle of the room, staring at nothing. Of course, his head was spinning with the multitude of thoughts that his mind wouldn't let go of, but for all intensive purposes, he was frozen in his spot. With a shake of his head, Nick picked up the receiver. "Hello?"

"Please don't hate me!" Justin pleaded through the phone line, causing for Nick's stomach to drop. This was not going to be good news and Nick's mood darkened considerably. There was a pause, and when he still hadn't responded Justin continued. "Please Nicky, it's not that I don't want to go, it's that I can't.

Nick could tell by the tone in Justin's voice that he was being sincere, and although he wasn't mad he was disappointed. Very disappointed. "I'm not mad."

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah. It won't be the same without you there, but I understand."

Relief flooded Justin's heart and he exhaled the breath he'd been holding. Nick had left him a message a few days earlier, inviting him on a much needed vacation. Things had been getting too intense as of late and the blonde decided they needed to just get away. Away from life and families, and relationships and their careers... and everything else that they could possibly want to hide from. It was long overdue for an escape to regain peace of mind.

By they and them, Nick had meant himself, Justin and Kevin.

Reservations had been made and tickets purchased for an escape to a winter hideaway. From what the message had said, they were being whisked away to somewhere in Canada. The mountains. Whistler British Columbia to be exact. It was there that they could ski, snow board and do pretty much whatever they wanted for a week. Or ten. However long it took them to fully relax and enjoy themselves.

Justin had wanted nothing more than to join them. Escape and get away for a bit. It had been far too long since he had spent any time with Nick and he was missing the older man considerably. He had also been looking forward to seeing Kevin. Although they had spoken to each other on the phone every few days, he hadn't physically seen Kevin since he'd phoned him in the middle of the night and Kevin had come rushing to his aid, and that had been weeks earlier. The part about the mountains and the skiing and snow boarding had sounded nice too.

They've got me doing a round of promo before I have to be in the studio. Everything is being pushed up, big time, and I found out about this, like, yesterday Nick. I'd been hoping to get out of it, but there's no chance."

Nick turned up his nose at Justin's news. He had *really* been hoping to have both men join him on this vacation, that point only made clearer with each excuse Justin gave for his declining the offer. Kevin had already given his acceptance to the invitation and Nick had simply been waiting for Justin's. Now that he had it he wished it had been more positive news. "You can't make it? At all?" Nick hated the whine in his voice. He heard Justin groan and chuckle. Following suit he laughed and said "don't laugh at me."

"I can't help it babe. You're such a baby." Justin sighed as he took a deep breath. "You know I would if I could swing it Nick. God I fucking hate this."

Nick exhaled the breath he was holding. "Fine. FINE. Just leave Kev and I alone. To our own devices. Alone. In the mountains. Alone. With nothing but each other to do..." Nick paused dramatically. "Hmm, well it doesn't sound too bad when I put it that way huh?"

"Fucker!" Justin laughed, picturing Nick's sexy smirk.

"Well J, you have fun with that studio and recording thing. We'll call when we get back. And don't you worry, we'll make up for the lack of sex you won't be getting with us. We'll have a few fucks for you too baby." Nick laughed at the tortured moan sounding through the receiver.

"I hate you, you know that right?"

"No you don't. You love me!"

"It's debatable."

"Jealous!"

"Yeah-huh."

"Good."

"I should go Nick. I've got shit I gotta do. I'm meeting Chris and then I've got to do some interview or something. I don't even know what I'm doing anymore. God damn." Justin felt a twinge of disappointment again that he wasn't going to be able to make the trip with them. He'd definitely miss out on the bucketfuls of sex he knew they'd be having, but there was also the part of just being with them that he was going to miss. Times where they'd be sitting around, watching TV, all curled up together. Or going out and snow boarding with them or just doing the mundane vacation things that you pretend to hate but end up being some of the best memories. He just wanted to be near the two men, but instead he'd be in the studio for upwards of 12 hours a day recording his next CD that management had insisted couldn't wait. He had to 'strike while the iron was still hot', 'work those Grammys and American music awards'. For a moment Justin wondered when he was going to have time to live for
himself. There would be plenty of time to rest when he was dead, at least that's what management kept telling him.

"Well, tell that fucker he promised me a game of golf. He keeps punking out on me!"

Justin let out a loud laugh. "He knows you're gonna beat him, that's why he's avoiding any talk of golf with you."

"Pussy," they both said at the same time knowing its truth.

"Well J, if something changes let me know. We'll both have our cell phones. Let us know you're coming and we'll be ready for you." Nick couldn't lie and say he wasn't hoping, at least a little, that Justin would be able to come up and surprise them at some point in the trip.

"Of course baby. If I can manage to do it, I'll be up in an instant." As Justin hung up the phone he once again had a vision of Nick and Kevin up in the mountains. Skiing, faces red from the cold. Curled up in front of the fire, watching TV. Tangled in the sheets after making love for hours on end. He felt his cock twitch and throb, wanting nothing more than to join them. But at the same time he was excited to start recording again. His heart was being pulled in two different directions, his love for his music and his love for Nick and Kevin. Hopefully, if all went to plan he'd be able to sneak away for a day or so somewhere in the next week or two, but he wasn't going to hold his breath. The last thing he needed to do was get his hopes up and then find out it wasn't feasible.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~~

The second he walked into the VIP holding area for their flight Kevin smiled at the sight in front of him. He'd assumed that he would be the first one there. Nick was 99% of the time incapable of arriving anywhere on time. Kevin checked his watch to see that, yes, he was early. Which made Nick, who was already there, extremely early. The butterflies took flight in his stomach making it flip a few times.

As he approached, Kevin noted the steady rise and fall of Nick's chest, his closed eyelids and pink lips curled into a perfect pout. He looked angelic and the last thing Kevin wanted to do was to wake him. He needn't have worried, because moments later, as if sensing his presence, Nick's eyelids fluttered open. Their gazes locked and both men smiled.

"Morning, Sleeping Beauty." Kevin said affectionately, running his fingers through Nick's hair.

Nick snorted as he wiped his eyes tiredly. "Hardly," He yawned before continuing. "Been here long?"

Kevin shook his head. "No. I just got here a few minutes ago. You?"

"Been here...." Nick checked his watch, "...an hour?" He thought for a moment, before nodding confidently. "Yeah, an hour."

"You ARE a changed man. The Nick Carter I know would be flagging the plane down on the runway." They both shared a laugh, knowing the truth Kevin spoke.

"I know, but I was already up and out and J had to be in the studio by seven, so I just came here. I knew if I went home I'd have fallen asleep and missed the flight." Nick bit his lip as he waited for Kevin's reaction to hearing he'd been with Justin that morning. As cool as things had been going, as okay as they all professed to be, all three still held onto lingering traces of jealousy from time to time. It was only natural, and in all honesty, Nick was glad that they were all a little jealous. He saw it as a sign of caring. That they all cared enough to be jealous.

Kevin blinked, a slow smile appearing, "How is he?"

"Good. He was a little sad that he couldn't come with us, so I stopped by last night to say good-bye. We ended up talking and, well you know how things go, I ended up staying the night. He gave me something to give you, but that's going to have to wait. Unless you want to cause a scene." Nicks' eyes twinkled, almost begging for Kevin to want a scene. Unfortunately, the older man shook his head.

"Later. And then maybe I'll give you a few things as well. It's been a while since we've seen each other."

Nick giggled softly as he nudged Kevin's shoulder. "I DO plan on doing some snow boarding while we're there Kevin. Just so you know."

All he received in response was a shrug and a mumbled "We'll see about that, Nickolas."

~*~*~*~*~

The view from their condo was absolutely breathtaking, as if they'd stepped into a movie. Nick looked out the picture window and grinned, finally starting to relax. Justin was the only person who knew where they were and he was under strict orders to keep it confidential. No one was to know where they were or how long they were going to be gone, the last thing he wanted was anyone interrupting their vacation. It was the only vacation he'd been actually afforded in god knew how long. Even planned vacations had turned into working vacations lately, and this was a chance for him to relax and step out of his life for a while. A chance for Nick to be Nick, nothing more and nothing less expected of him.

He felt Kevin approach and smiled as a pair of arms encircled his waist. "This was a fantastic idea, Nick." Kevin's voice was soft, words spoken against Nick's neck. Nick shivered as Kevin licked and kissed the skin there.

"I just wanted to get away for a few days. Away from recording ... my family.. Paris..."

Kevin's eyes raised in surprise. He was glad that Nick couldn't see his _expression. When the blonde turned around in his arms, Kevin couldn't erase the look fast enough and Nick caught him. He raised an eyebrow questioningly, knowing that Nick would understand.

"Man.. It's cool. I mean her and I are cool. It's fun but I just...don't know. You know?"

"Want to talk about it?" Kevin let out a sigh of contentment as Nick snuggled into his embrace, resting his cheek on Kevin's shoulder. He tightened his grip around the blonde's body and provided him with the comfort he knew Nick needed at that moment.

"Nothing to talk about. Mom's suddenly my biggest fan again, thinks that Paris is the perfect daughter in law, despite the fact that we're so not getting married. EVER. And now that the excitement has died down, I'm not sure what I want anymore. She's awesome. I mean, we have a lot of fun and I adore her. But, I don't feel what I probably should. And I know I don't feel what my mother wants me too. Fuck, if she could, SHE'D marry Paris. It's just more shit I don't need to be dealing with. It's never about what I want, it's what's best for everyone else. I just needed time away from it all."

"Baby, you can't help what you feel. You learned long ago that it's never going to be what Jane wants."

"I know. And Paris knows. We talked about it a bit and I told her that I don't want to be moving too fast. That it is what it is and until I figure out what I want, I can't make her any promises. She took it pretty well considering... I mean, I guess I just never really let myself think she'd get serious about me. I just thought she was having fun with it, that she wasn't thinking about more than just us fucking and having fun, but then she said something about falling in love with me and how I'm the first guy she's actually considered on a long term basis... Which is so fucked up, on a completely different level, because it changes everything."

"What do you want? What does Nickolas Gene Carter want?" Kevin rested his chin on Nick's head affectionately, pulling him even closer. He waited as Nick exhaled a deep breath.

"I want to ski. Snowboard." Nick pulled away causing for Kevin to frown. Their eyes met and Nick shook his head. He knew what Kevin was getting at and couldn't play along. He wasn't going to talk about it when he was still as confused as he was. Despite the older man's good intentions and desire to help, it would only end up just like everyone else. Kevin telling Nick what he 'should do'. "Let it go, Kevin, you can't fix this for me. I have to figure things out on my own."

The one thing Kevin hated was being helpless, not able to fix things for the people he loved, and for that reason he failed to believe he couldn't help. "I..."

"I love you for wanting to help me with this, Kev. I really do. But you're part of it. You're part of the reason I'm so confused. You, J, Paris..."

Kevin knew he'd been about to say something else, someone else after Paris but had caught himself in time. He wondered who was close enough to Nick to be a part of his confusion. Before he could stop himself Kevin was asking, "And who?"

"Who what?" Nick's eyes flickered around the room nervously, a clear sign he was avoiding something.

"You stopped at Paris but it was clear you were going to say something else. Someone else. What aren't you telling me Nick?"

Nick shook his head, blushing slightly. "Not yet." He stepped in closer and looked deeply into Kevin's eyes. "I just have shit I have to work out. That's why we're here, so I can relax and see where my head is."

There was one thing Kevin learned long ago and that was not to push Nick too far, too fast. He recognized the pleading tone in Nick's voice, the sadness that crept into his eyes and he nodded his head slowly, lips forming a sweet smile. When he was ready to talk, Kevin knew he would come to him, until then he would have to bite his lip and try to respect his wishes and refrain from prying. The skin on Nick's cheek was soft against Kevin's hand, as he gently cupped the blonde's face. His thumb stroked Nick's jaw and he brought their faces together in a deeply passionate, sensual kiss. Kevin parted his lips and extended his tongue, sliding it past Nick's lips into the warmth of his mouth. He prodded Nick's tongue, coaxing it out to play as one hand wove itself in Nick's hair and the other remained on his face. Kevin's breath was taken away at the passion he felt from the younger man.

Nick's hands immediately went to Kevin's back, pulling him near. He tilted his head to get a better angle, attempting to almost swallow Kevin whole. He'd missed the crackle of electricity that sparked in his blood at the feel of Kevin's mouth on his, the feel of their bodies pressed together tightly, the growling, hungry noises Kevin would make. He'd missed this more than he'd realized and suddenly everything thought except moving them into the bedroom and into a more comfortable position fled his mind. Nick whimpered softly as he pulled back to get some air. He nuzzled Kevin's cheek, inhaling the other man's scent. There was something in the simple act of being in Kevin's arms that settled Nick's racing mind.

It was one of the reasons that he was so confused. This was what Nick needed to work out in his mind. He had felt the exact same sense of belonging the night before and earlier that morning while in Justin's embrace. That feeling of perfection, of happiness, of the knowledge that this was where he was meant to be. Yet, he'd felt it both with Justin AND Kevin. Not once had Paris made him feel this much at ease with himself. Yes she was hot, a porn star in bed which was a bonus, but it wasn't what he was looking for, not for the long term.

In a way, he had hoped all three of them could have come together, just so he could make sense of the confusion in his head. He wanted to see Justin and Kevin interact, and how the three of them together worked out, but only he and Kevin had been able to make the trip. Nick had his suspicions about his two lovers. They professed time and time again that what they had was casual, that they weren't getting too close or too involved emotionally with the other, but he knew both Justin and Kevin better than they knew themselves and he could tell by the wistful _expression in their eyes while talking to or about each other. He could sense that things were becoming serious on a completely different level than the relationship that he had with either of them. In it's own way, that complicated things more than anything else. It was forcing Nick to think about things he'd rather have pushed back into the far recesses of his mind. Maybe, Nick thought, that this was a sign. Only he and Kevin
being able to make the trip. It could mean that he and Kevin were meant to be together. That thought was discarded almost immediately as Nick's mind focused back on Justin and the scene that played itself out in Justin's kitchen. The intimacy of breakfast only moments after making sweet, long, passionate love in Justin's bed all night. Nick recalled the need in Justin's eyes, the passion in his cries and the way Nick felt when they held each other afterwards.

All Nick knew was that he knew nothing at all. He had no idea what he was going to do or how he was going to proceed. Eventually, he was going to have to make a decision. Or a decision would most likely be made for him. He couldn't help but feel a sense of panic and anxiety at the thought.

"You're trembling baby." Kevin said, stroking Nick's back. He could see the conflict in the blonde's eyes and knew something was upsetting him. Kevin hated to see him so unnerved, but didn't know what to do to help him.

"Just overwhelmed." Nick raised his head from Kevin's chest and kissed him quickly. His demeanor changed almost instantly and it was as if Kevin were looking at a completely different person. He recognized it as a defense mechanism Nick often used, pushing unwanted thoughts out of his head and focusing only on the good. As if forgetting about his problems would cause them to go away. "How about we have some dinner and then do some night boarding."

Kevin was stunned. Nick actually wanted to go out. He was being serious about snow boarding, not using it as a ruse to pull Kevin's leg. Initially, he'd suspected it was a joke and Nick was teasing him, but there he was, pulling his gear out of one of the bags. When Kevin didn't answer Nick chuckled.

"Don't look so upset Kev, I told you I wanted to go out."

"I thought you were kidding."

Nick shook his head. "No, we could have gone anywhere just to fuck. Hell, we could have stayed home in LA, where J was, for that. I want to have a real vacation. Yes, we will fuck later, but right now I want to snowboard." He also wanted to get out into the fresh air and give his mind a chance to rest. When he was up on the mountain he knew that he wouldn't be able to concentrate on anything but the snow beneath him and trying not to break his neck. Being outside would give him a bit of a break from the voices in his head. He just needed to do something exciting and fun to relax and settle down a bit. He was overly amused by Kevin's childishness, finding it endearing and quite sexy.

It wasn't that Kevin hated snow boarding, it was just that his cock was throbbing and he liked sex, in any form, better. Nick had to have known that he was hard and aching for release and Kevin had thought Nick was going to do something about it. Soon. Sooner rather than later. Kevin growled as Nick laughed.

"Oooh, baby. You're such a suck aren't you!" Slowly, Nick approached, a gleam in his eyes. "How about I give you J's present now and then mine when we get back?"

Somehow Kevin figured that Nick was placating him and he felt a little resentment at that fact. He hated when people were being condescending towards him and judging from the gleam in those baby blue eyes that were watching him closely, Nick was doing just that. Of course the fact that Nick was quickly unbuttoning Kevin's jeans, allowing them to slide down his thighs to his ankles, slowly changed the resentment to a further state of arousal and all Kevin cared about was Nick doing something with his cock to make it feel better. "I guess that'll work." He pouted, eliciting a sharp laugh from Nick.

"Come on Baby, sit over here." Nick guided Kevin to step out of his jeans and sit, naked from the waist down, in one of the chairs by the window. He grabbed a pillow, slid it under his knees and knelt, taking Kevin's mouth hostage in a demanding, forceful kiss. "Now remember, this is from Justin. He went to impressive lengths to get the message just right." Nick flashed a coy grin before lowering his mouth to Kevin's lap.

Gingerly, he grasped a hold of Kevin's cock, stroking it to it's full hardness. He playfully bit and licked at Kevin's thighs as he made a path to his balls. Nick had gotten enough blow jobs from Justin over the years to memorize his technique. That hadn't stopped them from spending a few hours refreshing his memory the night before though. Nick had wanted to get it just right, and Justin hadn't been complaining. Nick felt his cock throb at the memory.

Kevin closed his eyes, allowing for Justin's image to appear in his mind. He imagined the young man kneeling between his legs, looking up at him with those pouty lips and wry smirk. The vision instantly changed and Nick appeared, followed again by Justin. Kevin was startled as he opened his eyes and looked down, unsure of what to make of that change. Nick was now running the flat plane of his tongue up Kevin's cock before taking the tip between his lips.

Again, his mind jumped from Nick to Justin and back again. He would have loved nothing more than to have both of them there, on their knees taking turns blowing him. "Damn," he moaned as he watched Nick open his mouth and carefully swallow him down. One hand was spread on Kevin's thigh while the other was fingering his balls. Kevin could feel his toes starting to curl.

Nick's eyes fluttered shut as he felt Kevin's erection slide down his tongue and into his throat. There was something erotic about being on his knees for Kevin, pleasing him and knowing that Kevin was thinking about him and his other lover. He felt Kevin's hands tangle in his hair and he mewled. Kevin's erection grew thicker on his tongue at the feel of the vibration, causing Nick to do it again. Nick teased Kevin for a few more minutes before beginning to work in earnest once more. Using Justin's technique, Nick started by swallowing and then rapidly taking Kevin into his throat before letting him slip out again. His tongue flicked against his shaft playfully while his hands were busy with his balls. Judging from the tortured moans coming from Kevin, Nick knew he was almost there.

Without warning, Kevin let go. He felt Nicks' teeth scrape gently against his shaft in an intentional move and he couldn't help but explode. His back arched, toes curled and eyes slammed shut as a low howl escaped his lips and he shot forcefully into Nick's mouth. He could feel Nick's throat constricting as he swallowed which only heightened the sensations he was feeling against his sensitive skin. Kevin let out a soft whimper before collapsing back into the chair, exhausted.

Nick stood, licking his lips. He shifted uncomfortably, the bulge in his jeans pulsing as he leaned down to press his lips against Kevin's. "Justin says that. And he misses you." Nick relayed the message, his voice hoarse, throat raw.

Kevin blinked a few times, a stunned smile on his face. He looked at Nick's disheveled appearance, his rosy cheeks, swollen lips and the way his hair was sticking up at all angles from where he'd been tugging on it. Kevin's brain started to process everything and he felt a warmth spread through his body. He was instantly reminded of how much he loved Nick. Of how generous and selfless the blonde was and how, despite his budding relationship with Justin, how important Nick's place in his life was. Although they were all free to do as they wished, Kevin knew that without Nick's blessing, he and Justin would never have started together. And knowing how much they meant to him, Nick okayed their intentions of getting together. He put his own reservations, his own fears of losing his place in their lives, aside and allowed them free reign to each other. Kevin wasn't so sure that he would have been able to do the same if he was in Nick's position.

What still stunned Kevin was his attraction to Justin. Yes, he wanted him on a physical level, but initially that was all it had been. It didn't go deeper than that, at least he hadn't expected it to. But the more he saw the younger man, the more time they spent together, Kevin came to the realization it was more. Which complicated things considerably. Blinking his eyes, Kevin looked down to see Nick watching him expectantly. His eyes were twinkling and his lips curled into a pouty smirk. He wondered if what he was feeling was even a fraction of what Nick felt right then. Being torn into the separate directions, afraid of allowing himself the luxury of even trying to categorize how he felt. If it was this difficult for him after only a few months, he couldn't even begin to imagine what Nick had been going through.

"I love you." Kevin had to say it, but more so he had to make Nick believe it.

"I know."

Kevin shook his head, face serious. "No. I love you. I love you so much it scares me and I didn't realize it until this all started with Justin. That was when I sat back and actually saw how much I love you. So much it hurts sometimes. I see how strong you are, how special you are and..." Kevin paused for a moment to catch his breath and attempt to calm his nerves. "I need to make you believe how important you are to me. How much I truly do love you."

Nick smiled as he blinked back the tears in his eyes. It was beautiful to watch Kevin being as emotional as he was, seeing the sincerity in the tremble of his hands, not to mention the emotion in his eyes. "I know Kevin. I know baby because I feel the same way. You are one of the most important people in my life. You are my world." Kevin's eyebrows furrowed and Nick nodded as if to verify his words as truth. "I do baby. I adore you more than I can tell you."

Kevin licked his lips and sighed. "Justin mentioned..." He saw Nick blush and stopped for a second. Using his finger, he lifted Nick's face so that they were staring into each others' eyes again. "What?"

"Nothing.. just that..."

"Tell me."

"I can just imagine what Justin said. He's heard me talk about you so much..."

Kevin put his finger over Nick's lips gently. "Shhh. He didn't say anything bad..." He exhaled the deep breath he was holding. "I guess I just never really thought all too much about our relationship. I know how I feel about you and always just left it with that. I didn't ever think about the other side of it... how you felt about me."

"How I feel about you, feel as in present tense. And I still love you as much if not more than I did that first day I kissed you." Nick's mind did a quick rewind to when he was seventeen and drunk for the first time. He hadn't had a lot to drink, just enough to loosen his lips and allow his true feelings to surface. Kevin had volunteered to bring him to bed and Nick had made an attempt to kiss him, which had been carefully rejected by Kevin. Thankfully, Nick had passed out soon after and Kevin hadn't had to worry about explaining why he'd turned him down. It was the next morning at breakfast that their first kiss had taken place. They'd congregated in Howie's room for their breakfast meeting over bagels, muffins and pancakes when Nick had stormed in, pushed Kevin backwards on the bed and crawled on top of him, pressing their mouths together in a sloppy, enthusiastic kiss.

"I wasn't THAT drunk last night Kevin. When I tried to kiss you I meant it."

They had received hoots and hollers from the other guys and Nick climbed off of Kevin with a grin of satisfaction on his face. Kevin had sat there stunned, unsure of where to proceed.

"Don't look so scared Kev. I don't want to be your fucking girlfriend. I just think you're hot. Hot enough to want to kiss, touch and probably fuck sooner or later."

And with that, their relationship had started. Their sexual relationship anyways.

"I know it took a while to get you to see me as more than you're pesky kid brother, but I always loved you."

There was more to talk about, but now wasn't the time. He'd said what was absolutely necessary to say for now, and figured it best to just leave it at that. Kevin pulled Nick in and pressed his lips to the younger man's forehead. "I know. I think I always knew. I just couldn't let myself believe that you felt that way." He ran his fingers through Nick's hair a few times before pulling away. "I'm truly blessed."

"We both are." Nick was emotionally drained. He hadn't wanted to get this deep into things right away, but Kevin had seemed intent on getting a few things off of his chest. And in all honesty, it was what Nick needed to hear. He relished the warmth he felt in reaction to hearing Kevin's true feelings. He pulled away and returned to his open bag, continuing to pull his ski gear out.

"So, you want to do a few runs before dinner?" Kevin relented and made his way to his bag, pulling out the necessary clothes. Heading out to the mountains in nothing from the waist down was definitely not on his 'to do list' that day. He looked at Nick who was checking his watch. The blonde nodded and Kevin smiled.

"Yeah. It's still early and I'm not hungry. We can do a few runs, go to the restaurant in the chalet for a bite and then do some more night skiing. I figure by tomorrow I'll be back to my lazy self so I might as well do as much skiing as possible now while I'm wanting to."

In less than a half an hour, they were all bundled up and ready to brave the cold Canadian air. Both men had decided to rent their equipment rather than cart it across two countries. Once they were certain they had everything they were going to need, they called for the shuttle to pick them up at their condo and bring them to the skiing and snowboarding area. There were large groups of people milling around and both Nick and Kevin were grateful for the goggles, scarves and toques to keep their identities secret. The line ups for renting snowboarding equipment was surprisingly long, so both men had time to chat.

"Did you want to take a lesson?" Kevin asked, nodding towards a sign on the wall indicating that there were hourly lessons available.

Nick shook his head. "Nah. I'm cool. Unless you want to. I'd go through it if you wanted..."

"No, I'm good too. I don't recommend we start on the expert hill, but I'm okay enough to manage the bunny hill at least."

"Okay, if you're sure. The last thing I want is either of us breaking something this week. It would royally suck." Nick giggled as he stepped up to the desk. He ordered his boots and board, filing to the right so that the attendant could strap him in and show him how to move in the equipment. Kevin followed soon after and they were on their way to the ski lift.

Nick could feel the thrill of the experience flowing through his veins, the adrenaline was already pumping and he couldn't wait to be at the top of the hill, looking down at the run before him. It was the same rush he got when they were on stage performing, nothing better than the anticipation of what was to come. He stood in line and stepped up to the attendant, Kevin on his side, waiting for the chair to come and take them up the mountain. It was as they were sitting, legs dangling that he felt a pressure on his hand. Looking down, he saw Kevin's hand covering his and the older man squeezed again.

"I'm glad we came Nick."

Nick only smiled and nodded, feeling the same way.

The next few hours passed by in a blur of trees and people, snow covered mountains flying past as they boarded down only to make the trip up once more. Midway through, the men had lost each other knowing that eventually they would meet back up in the chalet for dinner when the sun went down.

Nick looked up at the sky. It was getting pretty dark, dark enough for them to put the night lights on to illuminate the mountain. He was at the bottom of the run knowing that he should be going inside to meet Kevin. The line up for the chair lift was relatively short and with a grin, he headed towards the lift. He knew that Kevin would understand. Nick stood at the end of the line, taking a deep breath, simply enjoying the moment.

"Shouldn't you be heading inside?" A voice said. Nick had a feeling that the person was talking to him. Looking up he found himself staring into striking green eyes, the person only a few people ahead of him in line.

"Shouldn't you be doing the same?" Nick shot back, grinning. He pulled the goggles off and lowered the scarf, watching Kevin do the same.

"I figured I could get one more run in before heading in." Kevin hated to admit it, but Nick had been right in wanting to come out today to board. He'd been skeptical at first, figuring that what they needed was just to stay inside and relax, but getting out into the fresh air and keeping busy had done wonders for him. Kevin hadn't been able to think about anything except the task on hand, giving his mind a chance to rest. Looking at the mountain above him from the bottom, or looking at the mountain below him from the top, both perspectives only showed Kevin how small he was. How insignificant everything was except that moment and how he felt in it. Things didn't seem as hopeless, as confusing when putting it into the grand scheme of things and that was what Kevin needed. Without realizing it, he'd needed a new perspective on things. Nick snickered, nodding his head. "Yeah. Me too. I figured you wouldn't notice my being late." He saw Kevin was next so gave him an indication that he'd
meet him at the top of the run and waited for his chair to lift him to the top. When he got there, the older man was waiting patiently for him against the fence. "So, you gonna want to come back up here after we eat?" Nick asked as he put his goggles back in place.

Kevin shook his head. "I don't think so babe. I mean, I'm glad we came out today, I won't lie about that. It was just what I needed. But I'm wiped. Fell a few times, body's a little sore." He stretched out a kink to prove his point.

"Okay, yeah. To be honest with you I'm beat too. All this fresh air plus I didn't sleep all too much last night. I'm exhausted. So we'll eat and then just head back to the condo?" Kevin nodded, Nick doing the same. "Kay, well I'll see you at the bottom."

And with that, both men were off, sliding and weaving down the hill quickly. All thoughts of Kevin fled from Nick's mind. The only thing he was thinking about was the feel of the cold wind on his face, the thrill of the decent down the hill and the sound of the snow under his board. Much too quickly, Nick found himself at the base of the hill, adrenaline rushing, mouth formed in a giant grin, feeling more alive than he had in months.

"Fucking great ride eh?" An unfamiliar voice called to him, causing Nick to turn his head. This person was wearing a navy blue snow suit, definitely not Kevin in his sleek black outfit.

"Unbelievable. My first time here, it's fantastic." Nick flipped up his goggles and lowered his scarf so he could talk.

"Whistler virgin eh? You wouldn't be able to tell it. I've been watching you on your last few runs. You're really good."

Nick found himself beaming from the compliment. He extended his hand in an introduction. "Hi, name's Nick."

"Peter. Nice to meet you." Peter's eyes widened as Nick removed his gear and his face was in plain view. "Nick? Nick Carter? Dude... never woulda guessed it."

Nick found himself blushing at the awe in the man's voice, an obvious compliment. "Yeah. It's me." At that moment, Kevin approached, a grin on his face.

"What a fucking rush." He saw that Nick was talking to someone and his eyes narrowed slightly, wondering what was going on. Nick wasted no time in making introductions.

"Kevin this is Peter, Peter Kevin."

"Kevin Richardson? Holy shit. The others here too?" All three men laughed as Kevin and Nick shook their heads.

"Nah, just us. We needed a vacation and no one else likes to board, so we came up alone. They'd have picked some tropical island or something."

"My girlfriend's gonna shit when she finds out she missed you two. She was supposed to come out today but she was bitchin about cramps or some shit.." All three men nodded in understanding, knowing no other explanation was necessary. "So she stayed in, she loves you guys though. You guys have mad skills."

Nick laughed, shaking Peter's hand again. "Well thanks dawg. I don't get to do it as much as I'd like, but when I do. Damn."

"Awesome." Peter looked at the chalet behind him before nodding towards it. "You two going up for another run?"

"Nah, we're done. Why?" Kevin asked, feeling more at ease knowing that Peter had a girlfriend and wasn't a ski bunny after Nick.

"Well, I'm just heading in for some grub. If you're done, you can join us. There's a whole group that I'm with, we're all on spring break."

Kevin and Nick exchanged nervous glances, neither speaking.

"Nah man, it'll be cool. I mean, yeah, you're like famous or whatever, but you gotta eat right? And there's a big enough crowd with us that no one will even notice you. But you know, your choice."

"You wanna?" Nick asked. Yes, they'd planned on spending time together, but they'd have plenty of time to do that in the condo. It would be good for them to hang out with normal people for a while. Kevin gave a short nod of his head and they shared a smile. It was Nick who turned to Peter to answer. "Yeah, sounds good. Thanks for the invite dawg."

What Kevin wanted to do was to lure Nick back to their condo and have his way with the blonde. There just something about the pink tinge to his cheeks, the way his eyes were brighter and bluer than normal and the healthy glow to Nick's skin that made Kevin's cock throb and his mouth water. But he saw the way his lover's eyes lit up at the prospect of hanging out with Peter and his friends, and so Kevin's plan of ravishing Nick was going to have to wait. He knew how important this vacation was to Nick, how he just wanted to forget everything that was going on back home and live in the now, enjoy life for what it was. And that meant meeting new people and hanging out, socializing, being regular every day people. Kevin could handle that, especially knowing it was for Nick.

They walked the short distance to the ski rental booth and returned their boards and boots. Both Nick and Kevin were thankful to be back in their comfortable boots, giggling at each other as they unsuccessfully tried to walk normally. The three men made small talk on their trip over to the chalet where the restaurant was, Nick and Kevin curious as to what Peter and his friends were doing in Whistler. As it turned out, they were on reading week from the University of British Columbia and with it being their last year in school, they'd decided to spring for a whole week away skiing in the mountains. There were ten of them in total, four guys and six girls, all friends since their first year in school.

Kevin noted how Nick's _expression was wistful, knowing that had Nick not traveled the path he had taken, the path his mother had pushed him down, he'd be on his final reading week of his final year of university, probably doing something similar to Peter and his friends. He'd be months away from a degree, probably something to do with marine biology, and his whole life would be ahead of him. Not that he still didn't have his whole life ahead of him, but it was different. He was different. In a discreet movement, Kevin placed his hand on the small of Nick's back, letting him know he was there and that he understood. Their eyes met and he saw Nick smile gratefully.

It was hard for Nick to not feel at least a little bit of sadness at Peter's tales of spring break and reading week and university. He loved his life, when it all boiled down to it, he had a lot of opportunities that not a lot of people could honestly say they had. He was genuinely lucky to have been given the life he had, but on the other hand, he was missing out on such a big part of his childhood, his adolescence and his youth. He never had the luxury of not having to second guess why a girl was interested in him, the freedom to be who he wanted to be, do what he wanted to do and not have the world watching his every move, listening to his every word. He couldn't make typical mistakes without it being a major PR nightmare. He felt his heart tugging in two different directions, thankful when he felt Kevin's hand on his back.

Had he never become a Backstreet Boy, he never would have met Kevin. Had he never become a Backstreet Boy, he never would have met Justin. Had he never become a Backstreet Boy.. Nick shuddered to think of what else he would have missed out on. It took looking into Kevin's eyes, remembering the taste of his skin, his voice echoing in his ears, saying "I love you Nicky" for Nick's smile to turn from polite to genuine, his body immediately relaxing.

Within minutes they were standing in the restaurant, Peter looking for his friends through the throngs of people. "Oh, there they are." He led Kevin and Nick through the restaurant, indicating to the waitress that they were going to need two extra seats. "Hey everyone, sorry I'm late. I wanted to get a few extra runs in..." Peter ducked as everyone started throwing their napkins at him. Nick and Kevin simply laughed with everyone else.

"I knew it. Can't fucking leave it alone. I'm surprised you came in at all," one guy said as he rolled his eyes.

"We were going to wait another ten minutes, if you weren't in then we were going to order without you." A blonde girl said cheerfully, approaching Peter and kissing him gently on the lips. "And who are your friend..." The blonde turned to face Kevin and Nick, stopping immediately as she recognized them. "Holy shit!"

Peter nodded. "Leanne, this is Kevin and Nick. I met them as I was coming down my last run. They're in town for the week and..." Realizing that his girlfriend had long since stopped listening, Peter's sentence died off.

Everyone was silent, all eyes focused on Nick and Kevin. They shared a look and both men shrugged and turned to look at Peter. "And you said it wouldn't be awkward." Nick joked, punching Peter on the shoulder.

"Dudes, ladies... chill. Don't make em feel any more weird than they already do." Peter sat down, motioning for Nick and Kevin to do the same.

"Hi Leanne, nice to meet you." Nick said, extending his hand for the blonde to shake. He chuckled when she stared at it for a minute before tentatively reaching out to touch it.

"Nice to meet you too, Nick Carter," she breathed before looking at Kevin. "And you too, Kevin Richardson."

Almost instantly everyone broke into laughter, including Leanne who was blushing furiously. She turned to Peter and buried her face into his chest in embarrassment. "Oh baby, you never disappoint." He said as he rolled his eyes at Nick and Kevin over her head.

"I'm such a loser." She moaned before pulling away and turning back to face Nick and Kevin. "I'm really sorry. I swear, with all the times I've imagined in my head meeting you two, I've always been a lot cooler and smoother."

Nick and Kevin both assured her that it was no problem as they all sat down to peruse the menu. Moments later the waitress came back to take their orders. Both Nick and Kevin fell into the conversation with ease, finding that Peter's friends were actually as cool as he'd assured them they would be. They didn't focus solely on Nick and Kevin or their celebrity status, but seemed genuinely interested in finding out about THEM and who THEY were. Without realizing how long they'd been there, Nick yawned to see that it was well past 10 p.m.. They'd come into the dining room just before seven, meaning they'd been there for over three hours.

"Oh damn. Dude, dinner was great but I'm beat."

"What are you talking about," one of Peter's friends called out. "It's still early."

"Lets just say I've had about an hour's worth of sleep in the past 48 hours, which was at the airport waiting for our flight to be called. So despite the fact that it's early, I'm wiped."

"Well, how about you Kev? We're all heading over to one of the bars in town. You wanna come with?"

Kevin didn't know how to get out of it without appearing too obvious or too rude. Instead, he flashed Nick a look and nodded his head. "Let me see how things go when I get back to the condo. I know a lot of the time I think I'm good to go out, then when I actually get in and see how comfortable and warm my bed is, suddenly out doesn't seem so appealing."

One of the girls nodded her head as she stretched. "I hear that Kevin. I'm gonna take a shower and then if I STILL want to go out after that, I'll join you. If not, see you suckers in the AM."

Slowly, the crowd dispersed leaving Nick, Kevin, Peter and Leanne alone to head towards their condos, which were conveniently in the same direction.

"Well, we're pretty casual about our skiing time, but I'm usually up after breakfast, so about 10 I'm out on the run. We'll probably do lunch around 1 and then back out till 7 for dinner. Or whatever. At night, we've found that Electricity is a pretty good bar. We'll be going again tomorrow night, no doubt so if you don't make it tonight guys, you HAVE to make it tomorrow."

With promises to catch up with them in the morning, Kevin and Nick headed into their condo, pleased with the new friends they'd made but glad they were back in the privacy of their own place again. "I have to admit," Kevin said as he hung his jacket up and walked into the living room. "I'm glad that we met them. They're pretty cool."

Nick nodded his head. "Yeah. It's too bad that we're so tired, I wouldn't have minded going out with them." He covered his mouth with his hand as he yawned, chuckling at the look of amusement on Kevin's face. "Plus I just wanted to stay in with you. Curl up in front of the TV or the fire and relax." Nick's eyes focused on Kevin as the older man crossed the room and stood in front of him.

"Go and change into something comfy. Meet me in the living room when you're done, I'll have everything ready for you." Although Nick raised an eye in suspicion, Kevin smiled as he headed into the bedroom to follow orders. Knowing that Nick was most likely going to take a shower first, Kevin knew he had time get everything perfect. He went to lay the thick blanket from the couch on the floor, littering it's edges with pillows before hitting the switch on the fireplace. As much as he would have appreciated an old fashioned fire, this was just as good. He headed into the kitchen to see if housekeeping had filled his request from earlier that day. Kevin smiled at the stocked refrigerator, pulling out a plate of snacks and a bottle of wine. He was just putting the final touches on his romantic setting when Nick reemerged.

"What's all this babe?" Nick's lips curled into a sweet smile as his stomach fluttered.

"Just something for us. Lay down, make yourself comfortable and I'll be right back."

Nick looked around at the fire cackling, the pillows and blanket on the floor and the plate of cheese, crackers and fruit next to a bottle of wine. He made himself comfortable and settled in, pouring them both glasses of wine and nibbling on a few crackers. Nick was drifting off just as he heard Kevin enter the room.

"How are you holding up baby?" Kevin asked, sliding onto the blanket beside Nick. He scooted closer to the fire to warm up the chill he'd caught from the bedroom to the living room.

"Good, tired." Nick curled into Kevin's embrace, settling himself against the older man. They made themselves comfortable.

"Did you want to just get into bed?" Kevin asked, stroking Nick's head affectionately.

"No, this is nice. I want to stay out here with you. It's comfy." Nick had been certain that when they'd come back to the condo, Kevin would want to talk. He knew he wanted to talk but right now he just couldn't find the energy to do so. All he was thinking about was closing his eyes and falling asleep. "Thank you for everything," he mumbled softly.

"What do you mean?" Kevin asked, pressing his lips against Nick's in a gentle kiss. Nick was absolutely adorable, half asleep, looking like a little boy. A surge of protectiveness settled over Kevin.

"For not pushing me, for the fact that I know you wanted to talk more earlier and you didn't fight me on it. You came up here, went out skiing with me and then stayed to have dinner with those people. Thank you for being you and loving me like you do." A few tears sprang to Nick's eyes, a true indicator that he was overly tired, which brought out his emotional side. He burrowed his face deeper into Kevin's chest and tightened his grip around his waist.

"Shhhh baby. It's okay." Kevin felt Nick's body trembling just slightly. He stroked his back in a soothing motion, wanting to calm Nick's frazzled nerves. It was a few moments later that he felt Nick's breathing even out, the younger man relaxing completely against his frame. Some part of him had hoped that Nick was going to be ready to talk now, but judging from the speed with which Nick had fallen asleep, a heart to heart was definitely going to be out of the picture. Kevin stayed motionless for a few more minutes, making sure that Nick was completely asleep before he gently untangled himself from the blonde's embrace. Waiting until he had once again settled, Kevin stood and walked to his carry on and pulled out his leather bound journal. It served as a refuge from the outside world for Kevin. Most of his song ideas and melodies played out in that journal. There were bits and pieces of songs and song ideas, some they had used and some that they had not, but all held a special place
in his heart. The journal was also a place where he could work out the confusion that often waged war in his head. No matter what the problem, Kevin knew that he always felt better after he had been able to get it out of his head and in ink in front of him. There was just something about being able to see the problem in front of him that allowed him to get a better look at it and try to seek out a resolution.

The only problem Kevin was having right now was deciphering what exactly the problem was. If he actually uttered the words out loud, it was laughable. He had a pretty damn good life, amazing profession, being surrounded by people who loved him and cared deeply about him, investments that had ensured he would never have to work a day in his life if he didn't want to... but still, there was something picking at the back of his brain. Something felt unsettled and Kevin wasn't entirely sure if he was reading too much into things.

He loved Nick. He loved Nick more than he'd ever fully allowed himself to realize. But Justin was slowly creeping up into that equation. That alone was responsible for most of Kevin's confusion, not his relationship with Justin per se, but why he couldn't have a relationship with both men simultaneously. It wouldn't be the first time, as he and Nick were never exclusive. Granted, they were never involved in a relationship with the same person while they were in a relationship together, but that there wasn't the problem either. Kevin didn't begrudge Nick with Justin nor Justin with Nick, and he knew the other two men felt the same way. It was just he felt a sense of guilt. Guilt when he was with Justin and guilt when he was with Nick. Guilt because at that moment, as his pen danced across the page, trying to get his thoughts out of his head, his mind was wandering to Justin. To what he was doing at that moment, to how beautiful he looked and how his body was aching for him. All while
Nick slept not more than twenty feet away. Yet, when he was on the phone with Justin, or in Justin's presence, his mind often drifted to Nick.

Kevin knew that at some point, he was going to have to decide what he wanted. Who he wanted and how it was going to affect the rest of his life. He had long since stopped his fucking around. It wasn't worth the trouble any longer and in all honesty, he liked what he had with Nick and Justin.

He just didn't know what he liked better, or with whom.

Kevin closed his eyes tightly and pinched the bridge of his nose. He watched as Nick rolled over, his face scrunched up as if having an unfavorable dream. Nicks' forehead was creased, his breathing quick and in short gasps. In an instant Kevin closed his book and quickly moved to put it back into his bag. He slid back down onto the floor, laying in a position facing Nick. Gently, so as not to wake him, Kevin began to smooth out the creases in his forehead, whispering soft words of love to him.

"You are so beautiful baby. I want you to be happy." Kevin leaned in to press his lips to Nick's forehead. With the presence of Kevin against his body, Nick visibly relaxed and his lips curled into a small smile.

~*~*~*~

Nick was the first to wake up in the morning. He thought it was comical that they'd opted to sleep out on the living room floor rather than go into the bedroom and sleep on the king sized comfortable bed. Although, as he shifted in Kevin's arms, his head on the older man's chest listening to his heart beat, Nick couldn't think of anywhere else he'd have rathered sleep. Kevin's skin was warm under his cheek, soft and practically begging Nick to lick it. The events of the day before came back to him, the feeling of contentment at waking up to Kevin in the airport, how good it felt to have him close by, in arm's reach. The only sexual contact they'd had was the blow job he'd given him, definitely not in character for the both of them.

In the past, they would have stayed in all day and spent the whole time having sex, making love, fucking animalistically. But he'd wanted more than that yesterday. He'd just wanted Kevin nearby for the sake of having him nearby, not that he didn't want him sexually, Nick always did, but it wasn't as desperate and needy as he'd normally felt. It was as if they had all the time in the world and he knew he'd get the sex later.

Now it was later. Nick wanted Kevin. He gingerly pulled back the blanket covering them and sat up, making sure not to move too much. He wanted to wake the older man up, but on his own terms, in his own way. When he was certain he could move undetected, Nick slowly pulled Kevin's pajama bottoms off, tossing them aside. Although he wasn't hard, Kevin wasn't completely soft either, his cock thick and beautiful. The sight was enough to make Nick's mouth water. Unable to help himself, he lowered his face to take Kevin's cock into his mouth.

Kevin twitched in reaction to the dream he was having, or at least he thought it was a dream. One minute he'd been back home, relaxing on the farm in Kentucky and the next pleasure was jolting through his body. In his dream Kevin was extremely confused as to where the pleasure was coming from, afraid to look down for fear of what he would see. He faintly heard his name mumbled, consciously his hand moved down to his groin coming in contact with silky soft strands of heaven. In stages, Kevin began to wake up, finally coming into full consciousness realizing that it was Nick bringing him the pleasure, his mouth working him expertly.

"Fuck Nicky... good morning." He groaned, thrusting his hips, forcing his cock deeper into Nick's mouth. Regretfully, the wet warmth disappeared and Nick crawled up his body to kiss him with as much passion as he was blowing him.

"'Bout time you woke up." Nick giggled pinching at Kevin's nipple playfully. "We never got to.. catch up yesterday. I gave you J's present but didn't get mine."

Kevin whimpered as he felt his cock throb and his body tremble. "You weren't ready.."

"Well now I am." Nick rolled off of Kevin and crawled to his carry on which had been thrown by the couch. Rustling through the pockets, he returned with lube and a condom. Nick had learned one thing the day before, he needed Kevin like he needed air. Water. Life. Kevin was a major part of his life and he couldn't go on without him. He wasn't going to waste precious time trying to analyze everything, trying to categorize his relationships with people and what it meant in the scheme of things. Sometimes people spent so much time trying to organize their lives, they forgot to live it and appreciate what they were given when they got it. Nick vowed, as he'd waited for Kevin to finish showering the night before, that he wasn't going to be one of those people. He had Kevin there now so he was going to enjoy it. He was going to appreciate the time he had with him and let whatever was going to happen tomorrow, happen tomorrow. "I want you inside me, I want to feel you."

Kevin nodded, shifting so that they could change positions. He was startled when Nick shook his head and smiled. "What...?"

"Like this, me on top of you." Nick leaned down to press their mouths together one more time before he focused his attention on preparing Kevin's erection, sliding the condom over it's hardness and lubricating it sufficiently. It was a matter of minutes before he was hovering over Kevin's cock, the older man holding it still for him. "You ready?"

"Fuck yeah," Kevin breathed. He wasn't sure where to watch first, Nick's face which was braced and ready for the pain he knew was coming, or Nick's ass which was about to engulf his cock hungrily. In the end Kevin didn't watch either. The tight heat that he was met with was too much for his sensitive cock and his eyes slammed shut, his mouth opening wide with a growl escaping. He was startled to attention when he felt Nick's breath hot on his cheek.

"Open your eyes love, look at me."

Their gazes locked and Nick began to move on top of Kevin, working them both furiously. He used his muscles to clench around Kevin, only adding to the tightness the older man was feeling. Nick's thighs were burning from how he was hovering, his muscles tense, his body aching with pleasure and pain mixed, but as he stared deep into Kevin's eyes, he only felt the extreme pleasure of it, the love that was radiating from the older man. He could tell that Kevin felt the same thing.

There was nothing in Kevin's mind except for Nick. Justin did not invade his thoughts once. It was phenomenal how the blonde could make him forget everything, except him. Kevin began to shift his hips, wanting to get Nick off, to bring him ultimate pleasure, like the pleasure he himself was feeling at the moment. He reached his free hand, which had previously been resting on Nick's thigh, up to his nipple and flicking the silver hoop dangling there. Nick's back arched and a low moan echoed through the room, his eyes fluttering shut. Kevin smiled and repeated his action, this time using his nail to scratch the nipple teasingly.

"Shit..." Nick whimpered his hips jerking a few times. He could feel his cock twitching, ready to explode. As if Kevin could sense his approaching orgasm, he continued with his actions on his nipples while angling his hips just enough so that his cock was scraping against Nick's prostate.

Nick came with a loud scream and violent spasms, his hips barely moving on Kevin's erection. He knew that the older man still hadn't cum but couldn't focus long enough to continue working him. Thankfully Kevin took matters into his own hands and held Nick's hips motionless as he fucked him in the awkward position. It wasn't optimum movement, but it was enough for Kevin to seek the release he'd been denied. He wondered silently if Nick could feel him cumming through his whole body like Kevin did. Judging from the way Nick's eyes fluttered and rolled back into his head, his back arched once more and a sensual smile graced his lips, Kevin thought that yes, maybe Nick COULD feel him all over.

By the time they both regained their composure and both men started breathing somewhat normally they were shivering from their sweat soaked skin being exposed to the cool living room air. Kevin was the first to speak, his voice low and throaty. "So.. what do you want to do now?" Kevin's fingers danced over the skin on Nick's arm, drawing lazy circles there.

"Well, first I'm going to shower, then make something for breakfast. Then I'm going to hit the slopes." Nick could already see the look of disbelief on Kevin's face. He was surprised when Kevin responded favourably.

"Okay, good. We can get a few hours in before lunch with Peter and the gang. I don't think it's wise for us to overdo it again today like we did yesterday, I want to be functional enough to go out tonight. It's been ages since I've danced." Kevin knew Nick wasn't expecting that reaction, so to see the shock on the blonde's face only made him laugh harder. "I know, I'd rather stay in and sleep or cuddle with you or just fuck you six ways to Sunday, but we'll have time to do that tonight after the bar... or maybe after lunch or before dinner..."

Nick's stomach fluttered at the fact that Kevin was so enthusiastic. It was a new day for Nick Carter. One day at a time, one memory at a time with a stop here and there to smell the roses. Now, he just had to peel himself from Kevin's embrace and start the day. Looking up at his lover, he grinned. Five more minutes wouldn't hurt.
